I devoted a post a couple days ago to the wonderful castle we toured in Cochem, Germany on our wine tasting cruise with AmaWaterways on the MS AmaLegro. But I wanted to devote another post to the walking tour we did of the lovely village of Cochem. We had walking tours of just about every stop we made and it was such a wonderful way to visit the ports. The tours were all included in the cruise price, of course - unlike ocean cruising, which can really add on to your bill!
This was one of the nicest and most beautiful towns we visited on our cruise - although, I have to say, every town seemed more beautiful than the last and each was special and unique in their own way.
It IS pretty nice when your town has a view like this.
But this town has beautiful views no matter which way you look.
This beautiful arched bridge was lovely from any angle.
Incredibly gorgeous three-dimensional mural depicting the town's history. One of the most unique things we saw on the whole cruise.
Every place we looked, it was like a fairy tale village.
Lovely little outdoor cafe. Yes, that is a mannequin. Not sure why she was there.
Every church and cathedral in every town was beautiful.
Seriously, you MUST go on one of these cruises with AmaWaterways. It was incredible in so many ways.
